Camotan, Guatemala

We have been in
Camotan, Guatemala since Saturday June 6. There are thirteen of us staying
together this month. God has blessed us with such a beautiful place to stay. We
each have our own bunk bed and hot showers! The bathrooms are extremely nice.
There is also a swimming pool and several pets, including a pet monkey. We
cannot believe the place that God has provided for us. It has been an
unbelievable blessing that we are able to have such a nice place to stay on our
very small budget. Are meals are being prepared for us by a very sweet young
couple. They have been such a blessing to our squad.

We have been
able to participate in several ministry opportunities since being here in
Camotan. We divided into three small teams with about 4 to five on each team.
We have been planting coffee plants that will be sold to make money for the
ministry here. We have also been painting, building a medical clinic, helping
with a child sponsorship program, preparing and delivering school supplies, participating
in church services, and street evangelism.    

The people of
Camotan are in need of all of your prayers. There are still a lot of which
doctors and traditional practices still being used here in Camotan. The
children are literally walking up mountains to get to school where there is
usually one teacher for about 50 students of all ages.

We are working
along side Servant Ministries that is directed by Nancy Sheldon. Please pray
that God will continue to bless there ministry and provide everything that is
needed for the services they are giving to this community.

            The
other members of our squad are working in Hue Hue and Puerto Barrios. They will
be there until the 29^th and then we will all reunite for debrief
before we head to Nicaragua.
