So I’ve come to
realize that with 80+ world racers on the August Team we are going to be thrown
a lot of curve balls.
Curve Ball #1: In Ireland when we found out we
wouldn’t get going to Romania. We were
told we weren’t sure where we would be going but that our team leaders were
praying for different ministries. My
team found out that we would be going to Moldova.
Curve Ball #2: The night before we left Ireland
a few of the teams that were also supposed to be going to Moldova found out
that they wouldn’t be going to Moldova but to Romania. When we arrived in Moldova after our 13 hour
sleeper train ride we then found out that we were getting back onto another
train for 5 hours to our final destination.
Curve Ball #3: Yesterday (9/13) we found out
that we are no longer going to Egypt for October. Many of us are grieving this, but know that
God is in control. We don’t really know
any details other than that we are ATLing it around Eastern Europe. An ATL for those don’t know is Ask The Lord, where we pray into where God wants us to
be.
