I’ve got some news! I will not be going to Romania next month. Instead I will be going to Moldova. Moldova is one of the poorest countries in Europe. We will leave Ireland on Tuesday September 1st to head to Romania. The 4 teams that are going to Moldova will be staying in Romania in a secure hostel for 2 nights, because we will miss the September 1st train to Moldova. We will take the train to Moldova on the 3rd. We will be working with Team Benkadi. I’m praying for Tres and Ralph as they will be dealing with 12 girls next month.
We will be working in Chisinau. The primary language spoken is Romanian and Russian, this will be our first month where we will need a translator…the world race is officially beginning. I know i’ve been gone for almost a month but being in Romania it hasn’t really sunk in yet. We will be working with Crossover ministry, feel free to check out their site at http://www.crossoverusa.org/Home.html. Crossover’s main goal is planting churches in Moldova. We will be working with a church or two in a local village helping with outreach, evangelism, teaching, and VBS. We will also be doing some medical outreach for a few days.
Lodging this month will be with a host home. I’m looking forward to getting to bless these people for opening their home to us. Beautiful Feet and Benkadi will be in different host homes, so luckily the boys wont have an overwhelming number of girls ALL the time =] We will have $10/day for food, lodging and transportation.
This is all i know for now. So as soon as i know more I will let you know! I’m looking forward to some warmer weather. I’m kind of over the cold, rainy weather!
LOVE YOU ALL!!
