I’m part of the Chrysalis/Emmaus Community, a place where youth, young adults, and adults reconnect with Christ and who He is to them. This past weekend I was blessed to have teamed on the C-71 weekend. This blog is a shout out and dedication to the wonderful bugs and team. I was blessed to make some great friendships from this past weekend. Now that we’re down from the Mountain the rules don’t apply so Thank You for coming into my life! I’ve only been home 2 days and already wishing I was back on the Mountain away from the world. I miss not having to worry about what time it is or if i’m going to be late for anything. I miss being ok with not having enough sleep. But mostly I miss the people that were on the mountain.
This weekend was AMAZING!!! God was present and he was working in the hearts of many, myself included. When I look back on this weekend and think about it all I feel overwhelmed. God blessed me with some great people in my life. I felt the hurt and pain of others as they gave talks or shared how God is working in their lives. I was able to pour out Christs love to complete strangers…which is something that doesn’t come naturally to me…and I LOVED every minute of it.
BUT this is only the beginning of what i’m going to experience when this adventure begins. But i’m so glad that God is beginning to break me down for His Kingdom!
