I have a few people that I need to introduce you to. I want to introduce you to the 6 people who for the next year will be my family. While at training camp after the 4 days of intense self examination we did a couple team building.
I want to first explain the breakdown of the teams. As a group of 88 we are the August 2009 Racers. From that we are split into two squads, each with about 45 people; J squad and K squad. I’m a part of K squad. I still can’t believe that after only 10 days I feel so close to these people. Each squad was broken down into 6 teams of 7 people.
Our last team building exercise of training camp the group I was with is my team now, minus one person. When we finished our activity something didn’t work we were missing something. It’s amazing how often we think that we know what’s best. As a group we didn’t think it would really work, but God showed us differently. Through our stories it’s evident how God has placed each of us together for a reason.
So now what you’ve all been waiting for, the introduction of my FAMILY.

Team: Beautiful Feet
Tres Washington…Our strong leader. He has been blessed with the gift of leadership. He is what each of us girls need. He’s full of affirmation and a man of wisdom. The older brother I’ve always wanted. He is a true Man of God.
Bambi Bigley…A true Cali girl and a woman after God’s own heart. She is full of trust in the Lord. She joined the race the week of training camp. She has a passion for missions and I have so much to learn from her.
Birkleigh Foreman…The much needed addition to our team. She is full of energy. She brings lots of laughter to our family. She has been blessed with a very creative spirit. She uses her artistic ability to honor the Lord. She is the girl to give the hugs and speak truth. She’s a powerful prayer and the Lord has lots in store for her.
Bethany Brueggen…A Beautiful Woman of God. Bethany was with me during some of the hardest parts of training camp and she helped me learn so much about myself. She has a willing heart to help and comfort. She wants the best for everyone. She is our Finance woman and needs lots of prayer to get through this challenge placed in front of her.
Ralph Kelley…The quite but gentle Man of God. He has an amazing story that touched my heart and will be used to further the Kingdom of God. A strong man of prayer. His love for the Lord is radiant in ALL he does.
Nicole Marett…A woman that has a strong trust in the Lord. She joined the race the day before training camp. A true girly girl and I’m SO thankful for this. A woman who has a heart for missions. She’s a beautiful woman of God who is going to add such an addition to our team. Joy if written all over her face and it’s not often I don’t see a smile on her face.
