been doubting that God would really answer the desires of my heart. As you all know we are in Moldova this
month. We’ve had a lot of time to spend
in community and with God. This week we
started praying for the needs of those around us. It’s been a blessing to be able to pray with
someone for the desires of the country.

partner, Hollis, we prayed for Rain. This country is dry, both physically and spiritually. So though we prayed for it I didn’t really
believe that God would answer the pray. That night Hollis, Andrea, Amanda and myself went out on the steps of
Andre and Larissa’s house and worshiped. While we were worshipping it began to thunder and lightning. I got really excited and stopped worshipping
to point it out to Hollis. We then began
to pray for rain. A couple minutes later
it started raining. Praise God. Now I forgot to mention that the power had
gone out in the house before we got home from kids ministry, so after it
started raining Andre told us to pray that it would stop because the
electricity people would not fix the power if it was raining. I was torn, this country so desperately needs
the rain but Andre really wanted power back in his house. So I prayed that God would stop the rain long
enough that the power could be fixed and then let it pour during the
night. Well, a few minutes later it
stopped raining. And about 20 min later
the power came back on. As I was getting
ready to go to bed I began to hear the thunder starting back up. It rained during the night, however I just
didn’t think it was enough so when I woke in the morning and went to go to the
bathroom I saw that it was still very dry, so while in the bathroom 🙂 I prayed
for more rain. That afternoon it poured
for a good hour. Praise God!!
This was my wake up
call the God will answer the prayers of my heart, but that I just need to start
praying those prayers!!
