I just want to say thank you for all of the prayers and encouraging words that have come my way. It really means a lot to me to know that I have so many people supporting me in this next adventure that God has for me. I am very excited and thankful for what God is going to teach me and how He will use me over the next year.
If you would like to join me, I do have a couple of specific prayer requests to lift up to our Father.
- For those who don’t already know this, I currently work for a non-profit youth ministry organization. This is my 5th and final summer serving with this ministry. Every week we have anywhere between 250-400 students on our mountain property in north Georgia. I ask that you pray for our interns and the students that God has brought here this summer. As you can imagine, we don’t have a lot of spare time during the summer. So I also ask that you would pray for me that I would manage my time wisely as I am serving this summer here, but also fundraising and preparing for the Race at the same time. That leads me to my next request……
- I have officially started raising funds for the Race! I know that God will provide all funds/gear that I need! Will you join me in praying that I will be obedient in this sometimes difficult task?
