I just wanted to take a moment to tell you of a few things I have coming up and how you can help!

1. My first financial deadline is September 27th! I must have $3,500 in my account by this date. I need people like YOU to help me reach all of my financial deadlines. Mail in donations must be sent by September 13 and online donations must be made by September 24.

   Be sure to include a note stating “Appeal Code: BEARDENHEATHER” with your donation or write it on the memo line of your check. Make checks payable to Adventures in Missions. 

2. TRAINING CAMP IS SOON!!! Yes, you could say I'm a little bit excited. Training camp is where I will finally get to meet the people that I will be spending the next 11 months of my life with. Training camp is also where we will get a small taste of what life on the Race is like. We will be testing out all our gear to make sure that we won't be completely miserable the whole 11 months….

3. Last, but definitely not least, I am hoping to start speaking in churches soon about this amazing journey I am getting ready to embark on. I would love to speak to your church, youth group, Sunday school class, small group, etc. This is an amazing opportunity for you to help me spread the word and also to help me with fundraising.
