Family, Friends, and Loved Ones!

For the past few years I’ve been working as a dog groomer and more currently a dog trainer. When I tell people that, almost always people will say, “How fun! You get to work with dogs!” I always explain that it’s more working with people, the owners! I love helping owners and their families solve problems with their canine companions. Overall, I love helping people in general. This is what lead me to take annual mission trips to Haiti since 2013. My team would teach summer classes to children of all ages, including music, sewing, knitting, painting, bag making, jewelry making – you name it! We also took trips to the local orphanages with donations, and fixed anything that needed to be fixed. Long story short- I was sent where I was needed, and I did whatever I could. This past December, I joined the annual Christmas trip to Haiti, and it was on this trip that I learned about Adventures in Missions (ADV) and The World Race. My fellow missionaries are some of the greatest friends I have encountered in my life, and have supported my decision to join The World Race. I am positive that it is where God is directing me at this time in my life.

The World Race is an 11 month Christian mission trip to 11 countries around the world. One of the unique things about the World Race is that it’s not only a mission trip but also an intensive discipleship program designed to launch my generation into our specific kingdom calling. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages and schools, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations. My home will be a tent, and my suitcase will be a backpack! I will face many challenges all throughout the World Race, but as I prepare for my departure, one of my greatest challenges is my financial support. Like most other missions’ organizations, World Race participants are required to fundraise financial support. In order to leave fully funded on October 1st, I need to raise $16,690. I know that seems like a crazy amount, but I have faith that God will provide! This money will cover all of my field expenses for the 11 months of the trip. As I take this large step of faith in trusting the Lord, would you prayerfully consider joining me at a monthly donation or a one-time amount? No amount is too small, and means all the difference in the world to me. Gear and equipment donations are also very appreciated!

You can also donate through my blog by clicking the “Support Me!” button at the top. Here, you can make a one-time donation or partner with me and make a monthly donation. Again, thank you for taking the time to read this and your consideration in helping me with my journey.
