10 day training camp was a blast!!
I got to finally meet my squad, team leaders, and mentors! GO U SQUAD!

So each day the dress code and meals that day were centered around a different region of the world. So, there was Asia day, where we ate mostly rice and noodles with chopsticks. Then Central America day, where we had tacos every meal! (I love tacos so that was a really good day!) Village day where we had stews that simulated what we will probably eat when we do ministry in villages. South America day, adventure day, and India day we ate every meal with our hands! Which was messy and I found out, not as easy as I thought.

On Africa day and India day the dress code was stricter to reflect the conservative style of those regions. Women had to wear ankle length loose pants or skirt, and had to make sure their shoulders were covered, and no low cut tops. Men just had to wear pants. We slept in tents and had bucket showers!! And every session wrecked me for the Lord. We had sessions on forgiveness, evangelism, ministry, discipleship, Hinduism, Islam, and Buddhism, the Old Testament, communication, feedback, prophecy and listening the Lord and so many more!
But there is nothing like worshiping with 300 other people who all have the same heart to see the Lord heal the sick, to feed the poor, and to minister the truth and hope found in Jesus. Training camp was amazing, and I cannot wait to be back with my huge, new family in seven weeks when we launch to Swaziland!! Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement while I was at TC.

Also huge praise! I have reached $14,120 of my $15,800 goal!! All of the praise goes to the Lord and all of my thanks goes to you, for your overwhelming encouragement, prayers, and willingness to help me fulfill God’s call on my heart to go on this missions trip.

Enjoy some pictures from the week of my squad and my team!
