I just really wanted to share this sweet prayer adapted from Saint Francis of Assisi. This prayer not only touched my heart it is a prayer I feel is directly related to my prayer to be a servant of The LORD for His kingdom.

Lord make me an instrument of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love.

Where there is injury, let me sow pardon.

Where there is doubt, let me sow faith.

Where there is despair, let me sow hope.

Where there is darkness, let me sow light.

And where there is sadness, let me sow joy.

Lord make me an instrument of your peace.

  Use me despite my weakness.

  Use me through my weakness;

That the strength of your grace might be made known.

And as you use me, change my desires

Make me long to console more than be consoled

Make me want to understand more than to be understood.

Make me desire to love more than be loved.

For it is in giving that we truly receive.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace

-Saint Francis of Assisi

Such a beautiful reminder that God has to water the seed, but what a blessing it is to be a partner is sowing seeds of LOVE.

Romans 12:1-2 (ESV)

I appeal to you, therefore, brothers and sisters, by mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
