Help me get fully funded by the end of February!
Fundraising is demanding, it demands that I trust the Lord in all circumstances and let go of control. It has brought amazing testimonies of the Lords faithfulness. For my $5,000 goal I was 4 days away from the dead line and was headed to a middle and high school mission trip where I would have no time to fundraise. This was the first time the Lord showed me His faithfulness. A facebook fundraiser and a few shares and the Lord provided thought His body over $4,000 and $280 over.
Another time the Lord provided was when I needed to get my yellow fever vaccination. The USA was currently running low and their where no appointments available until after I was leaving for my first month on the race. While I was on the phone and the receptionist was telling me this she said “oh wait it seems we just had a cancelation for tomorrow. Can you make it?” Without thinking I said “I will take it”. However, I had no way to pay for it. I knew it was a blessing and I was not going to reject the blessing from the Lord. I contacted people, posted online and within the day the Lord had provided all the funds.
A perspective that I have recently gained is that the sent and the sender are the same. Many important responsibilities keep people at home, and because I’m only 22, I currently have a freedom that I must take advantage of, meaning that we have an opportunity to come together as the body. Both the sender and the sent are the same and I am offering you an opportunity to sow into the ministry opportunity God has given to me.
January 31 was my final fundraising goal of $19,900. So far the Lord has provided $13,638 though his body. However, there is still a need for $6,262. I am praying that the funds are provided by the end of this month. The Lord raised 4000 in a week, why can he not raise 6,262 in two weeks.
Please prayerfully consider sowing a seed. You might be thinking what should I give?
Any amount is a beautiful seed to the Lord that will be blessed unto you. 5$ to $1,000. I pray you step into faith that the Lord wants to use you and I pray you step out of your comfort zone to see the way He is faithful to you. The sender and the sent are the same, and I would love to celebrate with you another testimony of the Lord and the way He uses us to partner with Him for His kingdom!
