Alrighty friends, HUGE NEWS.
So I was praying the other day, confused, as I wasn’t receiving many funds and seemed stuck in a rut. I was really unsure and worried. Was I hearing God wrong? But the Lord works in mysterious ways. The next day, I received a donation for $1000.
ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS.
Crazy.
I’m right where I’m supposed to be folks. I’m not going anywhere. Well, accept Thailand, Guatemala, and Malawi!!!
SOOOOOO….my team leaves in 200 days.
TWO HUNDRED DAYS. That’s all!
But wait! There’s more. 🙂
I am OFFICIALLY 11.5% FUNDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to some amazing friends and family members, that’s $1,583 currently pending in the account- just days from arriving on the money tracker!
I am thanking God every single day for all of the amazing support and contribution of each and every one of you!
However, that’s not going to get me all the way there. So here it goes- MARCH MADNESS.
Now, I’m not talking college basketball, while that’s great too and I’m sure the Lord is in full support of that as well (depending on the team:)). But I’m talking fundraising.
My goal for march, with each and every one of your help, is to fill all the squares on my Adopt-a-Square board, and have the money turned in by March 31st! Now, if you’re interested in helping, there are many ways you can help to make this happen….
1. Team up! Two is better than one and three is better than two. get into groups and challenge yourselves to split up some of the larger amounts.
2. SHARE SHARE SHARE! My blog is an excellent way to do this. Share the link on social media or any other means you can think of and get people in the know about where I’m going and what I’m doing. I’d love for families, churches, and anyone else to get involved. It’s going to take a village to make this happen!
*This is also a calling to those of you who have already reserved squares to donate to! If you’ve reserved a spot, please get those funds in as soon as possible!*
I’ve got some exciting things coming for April!! 🙂 tons of FUNds coming!
Thank you so much, each of you who has donated your time and/ or money to this journey. I am so thankful for your support and blessed to have you in my life. The Lord is working in so many ways.
xoxo,
Hayds
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” – Phillipians 4:6-7
