And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”
-Galations 4:6

Warning: I have never posted a real blog before so please be patient. But, when God moves and I see beautiful things take place, you will be getting an update I assure you.
I got home from World Race training camp two days ago and it was even more than what I expected. It was a life-changing experience. We slept in tents every chilly night and did not have access to caffeine for the whole week. Each day we ate food from different countries and interacted as the people of those cultures would. I took two cold showers all week and lost about 8 lbs. Plenty of team building exercises took place and then teams were formed. We learned the importance of positive and constructive feedback not just inside our teams, but also for everyday life that will help cultivate and maintain healthy relationships. The squad leaders took the time to pour into me and develop me as a leader. I experienced real community with believers from all over the world with different personalities and unique stories. I witnessed people with illnesses get healed and I saw spiritual gifts that were birthed.
This is B Squad! We are a family and a force that the enemy cannot stop. I love all of them. I get chills just thinking about what God will do through His sons and daughters who are willing to live a life of abandonment, welcome brokenness, and utterly depend of Him for their source of hope.
and later on in the week teams were formed…
Meet Team Braveheart! We made a commitment to LEAVE the people and things we love back home, to LIVE dangerously so the Gospel will be heard, and to LOVE the Lord with all that we are. I will be living and serving with these amazing men and women for the majority of the race. I am so stoked to be with people who love Jesus and seek to glorify Him. They are so much fun and each of them possess different gifts that will make a solid, unified team.

Training camp was a week that ignited my soul and pushed me into new places with my Father in heaven. I discovered untouched territory that the Holy Spirit revealed to me and real freedom, which led me to see His glory and provision. I was encouraged to press into the hard, uncomfortable places in my life where I needed healing and redemption. What I can tell you is that my heart has changed. God changed the way I view Him by demolishing the box that I was guilty of keeping Him in and He changed how I serve others. One night during worship, my prayer was to have a heart of King David and to be a brother like Jonathan and I heard God say I was going to lead many people to Him and be warrior for His Kingdom. I’m not exactly sure what that looks like, but I know He has been preparing and disciplining me for a long time throughout the years. We are called to love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. He requires everything and the journey will hurt, but the intimacy with Him is worth it.
Thank you for all who have supported me financially and prayerfully. I have about two months left in the U.S. so please pray for my family and me as I prepare for launch. I am still in need of funding, so if you’d like to donate, just click the “Support Me” button on my blog. Thanks for reading!
