this year, thanksgiving looked a little different.
instead of watching the macy’s thanksgiving day parade, I walked up and down the thai streets around my home.
instead of cooking with my mom, I spent my day making centerpieces, decorating the church, and eating chocolate filled toast.
but some things were the same. I ate my dinner surrounded by my incredible family- 14 world racers that are my brothers and sisters to the core. I laughed with my friends- Thai students from the nearby university that carry so much life and joy. and I was thankful, so very thankful. for Jesus. for a beautiful day. for Thailand. for new traditions. for the many blessings God has so compassionately given me.
I made a video of our thai thanksgiving; I hope you can catch a glimpse of what a wonderful day it truly was.
the deadline for being fully funded is only one month away. because of each of you, I am so close!!! only $1889 more. during this holiday season, I would be so grateful for any amount you feel led to give. your prayers and support mean the world to me.
In His Name,
Harper
