I see a lot of God in the sky. In the way that it looks different everyday but how every single combination of clouds or stars is beautiful in its own way. Like He wants to show us something new about Himself but we know He’s always there. I see Him in the way He paints the sky in different colors for each sunrise and sunset. In the way that He arranges the stars and knows them all and where they go and by name, just as He knows every single hair on our heads. I see Him in how the sky is beautiful even when it’s gloomy or stormy. In His creativity of how the clouds are ever changing throughout the day just as He has created each of us to be unique in our own way. I see Him in the shooting stars that we have the privilege of catching a glimpse of when we really pay attention. How He shows off with the different colors He puts in the sky for every situation. I see Him in the rain, snow, and even in that sleet and hail. I see Him in the lightning, how it cuts through the sky in amazing and beautiful patterns and hear Him in how the thunder can shake the earth. I see Him in the detail of the moon and how it never repeats itself, how it reflects the sun from a million different points in a million different ways. I see Him in the way that other people admire the sky and all its beauty. In the sun, how it shines in different ways across the earth and how rays of light beam through the clouds. In how light and rain can create a line of color through the sky that we all admire, every time, no matter how old. And if He put that much thought, love, creativity, and effort into the sky, into something we get to look at, just imagine how much thought, joy, and love He put into creating every person on the planet. It can’t even begin to measure up. So, I see God, when I look at the sky.
