Family! Friends! Supporters!
First off I want to say hello! hola! susaday! I hope all is so so well on your side of the world! I wish I could have been better at updating you all about what has been going on more often but it’s been a pretty crazy and wayyyy too fast 8 months. And two I want to say thank you thank you thank you whether you have been supporting me since my first missions trip 8 years ago or if we just met last year. Jesus has so specially placed each and every one of you in my life at such specific times and I will forever be grateful for each and every one of you! But, as you all probably know I am officially on my last month of the race. I am pretty sad happy about it because I will miss all of these people that I have been living life with but I am also so excited for what Jesus is doing next in my life.
As of 2 days ago, I am officially going back to Serbia! I won’t be coming home to America until the beginning of July now. Crazy! Man am I glad that Jesus moves on His timing and not mine because this has truly been His handiwork. When I am there, I will be visiting lots of friends and missionaries that we have met throughout the years of going to this beautiful country. I will also be volunteering for a week at a disabilities camp called Joni and Friends which is run by my friends parents who have a daughter with autism (Hana). This camp specifically gives the parents an opportunity to get some relaxing time away from their children in small increments throughout the day while being encouraged through His words and truth. It also gives me a chance to love on all of these beautiful children as much as I can in 7 days. I will also be visiting Camp Timok where we have been working to renovate the property there so that church camps can be held throughout the summer.
Jesus has been laying Serbia on my heart, well really for years, but specially before I was leaving for the race I had this desire to go back since I was conveniently placed so close by for my last country.
I hope that you will all be praying for me as I continue on this journey that Jesus is sending me on. I hope that you will moreso be praying for my last month here in Albania, for these people here that I have built relationships with, that they would see Jesus and want to know Him. Pray for the people in Serbia, that we would get to bless our friends there and that Jesus would move in the hearts of the parents and their children. That we would get to be a light in big and small ways throughout the month of being there. Not only could you help through prayer but I am also needing to raise $1,500 for my time in Serbia and my flight home. I again wish I could send more thanks your way but absolutely nothing would be enough (well besides Jesus of course).
