How To Color–Code Your Bible
I love to learn. I delight in study. I have a passion for God's Word. So, naturally, I decided to color code my Bible. Here begins my extremely nerdy blog of how I did so, just incase there's anyone else like me out there that just needs a little bit of organization in their life!
-Tools:
1) 1 highlighter
2) 1 pen
3) 5 colored tabs

-Method:
-I highlight key passages
-I highlight AND underline the “very powerful” passages
-I use color coded tabs to organize and mark highlighting that I want to be able to go back to quickly, and I use the strategic placement of the tab to further categorize the passage. (I don't tab every single thing that I highlight.)

-Tab Color Categorization:
Red/Pink – Salvation (Red represents the blood of Christ)
Yellow– Holy Spirit/Miracles
Purple– Prayers/Praise
Blue– Wisdom/Discernment/Law
Green– Word of God (Green represents Life & Growth)
-Tab Placement Categorization:
Top of page toward inner spine- “Good to know”
Top of page at center- “Good to memorize”
Top of page toward outer edge- “Good to study”
Side of page at center- “Stories I Love”
Tips
– Place tabs further down so that they do not stick up very far over the top of the page, that way they wont' get worn and bent as easily.
-I would suggest beginning this method as you begin a new Bible Reading Plan, as it can be overwhelming to go back through all of your highlighting during one sitting!
