Hello friends!!!

As you can tell by the title of this blog post, I’m going to be telling you guys why I decided to go on The World Race.

After lots of time in prayer, this is what the Lord has put on my heart to share with you guys today!!!!

My heart longs for something more. Something more than living my everyday life on repeat. I wan’t to be uncomfortable, unsure of whats coming next. I wan’t to live with complete faith that even though I don’t know, I do know that my God keeps His promises.

My prayer and my hope for The World Race is that I would use my eyes to see the world the way God does. That I would not be blind to the brokenness and the bitterness of this world. That with every person I encounter, young and old, I would see them as a child of the one true King. I want to see revival.

I want to use my tongue and my lips to speak words of truth, wisdom, and life over the nations. I wan’t to use my language to let the world know of their Savior who loves them, so much He gave His life for them. I want to pray for the specific needs of every beautiful individual God puts in front of me.

I wan’t hear and be a witness to the life change that happens within the lives of my team mates, myself, and the people we encounter in Thailand, India, and Costa Rica. I want to hear stories of how the Lord has provided, and revealed Himself in times of need and doubt.

I want my hands and feet to become the hands and feet of Jesus. Walking alongside the lost, holding their hands, leading them to Jesus. I want to do whatever it is the Lord wants me to do in order to see salvation and bring people one step closer to the kingdom of Heaven.

I am humbled to have been chosen by God to take on this journey. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t afraid, but love casts out all fear. I can’t wait to see what the Lord does throughout the 9 months I am on the World Race! Not only will I see lives change, but I am fully expectant to come back changed as well.
