In my first month back on the field the Lord spoke to me a lot. He spoke to me: in times of stillness with him, throughout the day, through visions and through others as well. And I thought it might be something fun to share with you all. My prayer in sharing this is that it will give hope to anyone who may be having a hard time hearing from the Lord at the moment, show the beauty of how the Lord speaks to me, (since he speaks uniquely to each of us) and praise him for his sweet and gentle voice that guides my life.

So, without further adieu, here are a few of the things that the Lord spoke to me this past month.

10/7/18

One of the parents of one of the women on my squad got a vision for me while they were praying over us.

She got a picture of a flute and heard from the Lord that I am quiet, yet strong. I rally people, I bring unity by bringing people together.

10/8/18

My mentor got a vision for me during a time of worship where I was being shepherded by my father in heaven, and I was frolicking in a field filled with joy. She also got a vision of me going on wild adventures with my heavenly father.

Later a girl from my squad got a vision of all of us on a plane flying to Colombia. As the plane was landing the ground of Colombia was shaking and all the darkness of Colombia was starting to disappear. Jenny, (my co-leader) and I were on the plane holding up our right hands and then the Father was above us holding up his right hand leading us. Our leadership was his leadership because it all came directly from him.

10/11/18

A girl on team Lit, (that I was with last month) got a word for me while praying: New seasons lead to old occasions that will test your faith.

10/17/18

Directly to me during a quiet time spent with him:

I have for you to love lavishly just as I did.

10/21/18

During a team time with the team Lit, we spent time asking the Lord what he had to speak to each person and here are a few things that I got:

One girl got a picture of me dancing in a meadow freely before the Lord.

Another girl got a vision of me lifting someone out of the water.

10/22/18

In asking the Lord what he wanted me to share about in preaching in front of a church that week.

What do you want me to talk about, father?

10/23/18

In a team time with the team Lit we walked through a mourning exercise and during this time he spoke some cool things to me about my relationship with him:

You are my bride and I am your bridegroom. We have a covenant relationship. I must hold your heart before anyone else does. Let’s go deeper for I am gentle and soft.

10/25/18

During a time of giving each other feedback on how we can grow and how we have done things well this month one of the members of team Lit was told to tell me this after asking the Lord:

The stars don’t ask for permission to shine. They abruptly force their beauty into the atmosphere. They are greatly admired and loved, and we are all better for it.

10/28/18

Directly to me during a quiet time spent with him:

My love for you is everlasting. It will always pour over. Don’t worry about having enough because I will always pour over you. It will never run dry no matter the season, feeling or experience. I AM.

Thank you, Lord, for everything you spoke to me and over me this month. You are so incredibly kind and gentle in your words to me. Thank you, father. Thank you.
