This month we have spent our time partnering with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and have done all kinds of ministry. Here is a tour of our ministry through photos. I hope you enjoy it!

We spent the majority of our time this month working at the YWAM Base doing anything from cleaning ceilings with brooms, cleaning window sills with a knife and ripped t-shirt, moving slimey wood piles, to filling trucks with books to make a library for the students at the base to enjoy. In this we have learned to clean with all different kinds of tools, and do odd jobs that help bring lift to the staff here by helping them get things done they normally wouldn’t have time to do otherwise.

We have also gotten to help in the kitchen learning how to make different Panamanian meals, and also cooking for special occasions such as graduations, Christmas, new years etc. We have shared many laughs trying to cook Panamanian meals early in the morning when the stove wouldn’t light or when what we were trying to cook didn’t turn out anything like what we thought it would.

We have also gotten to do a few different outreaches with the local church we attended this month including rollerblading outreaches, God’s eyes clinics, helping throw a christmas party etc. We have gotten to meet many different people in the community through these outreaches which was been REALLY sweet.

Later in the month we had a team from California join us and we were able to partner together and do Children’s ministry a coffee plant, in local towns and small villages with the gnabe tribe. We also got to visit nursing homes and participate in intercessory prayer in the city.  It was really fun to get a taste of many different kinds of ministry and I am thankful for all the different experiences we had.

We were also fortunate to get to explore Panama as well. We visited castles, waterfalls, the ocean and even spend a few days in Panama City.

We also made friends with a few neighborhood dogs!

Overall, Panama held all different kinds of ministry and was a great learning experience. I am so thankful that our last month in Central America was spent here.

But now…IT’S TIME FOR AFRICA.

We will begin our travels in a few days and I cannot wait to spend our next month in Lesotho.

Stay tuned for updates on life in Africa and how God is working there! 🙂
