I had the privilege of spending this past month with team POF. This team is full of hard workers, food lovers and lovers of the word. This team loves to spend time together, dig into the word, ask deep questions and make guacamole and cookies often. I loved getting to spend this month with them! They are a sweet bunch! ??

Surrender and trusting the Lord.
What is a dream that you have for your life?
To be a mom and live in West Virginia forever and do ministry there. My biggest dream is do infectious diseases research for the CDC in West Virginia.

I am kind of a surprise, you never really know what you’re going to get.
What is something you have grown in on the race that you are proud of?
Ah, yes. I have grown a lot in letting myself feel things, and sitting in my feelings and allowing them to be a good thing from the Lord and not a bad thing from me. Learning what the Holy Spirit sounds like in the midst of my emotions.
What is a dream that you have for your life?
Okay, READY. I think it would be so cool to own or be a part of a coffee shop in the mountains. The whole purpose of the coffee shop is for the people who enter it feel more loved by the time they leave than they did before they entered. A place where people can be known and loved. A coffee processing shop. And I think it would be cool if all coffee came from Colombia and we had a relationship with the bean suppliers.
What does the Lord call you when he speaks to you?
AH, YES. When he speaks to me he usually addresses me as my love. But I think words he calls me are joyful, wise, able, and often tells me that I am a leader, bold and refined.

Seeking the Lord daily in the word and digging into the word and growing in that.

I want to someday build affordable and sustainable housing for others that can withstand weather and all that jazz.

Sister in law, grandpa and grandma are not saved and during a worship night last month, the Lord told me that they would come to know him within 1-5 years.

God’s word is the truth, his truth says I am holy, and a dearly loved child of his. I am wonderfully made, I am treasure, I am beautiful, I am fully known by him and lavishly loved by him, I am chosen, I am special and I am set apart.

I am very much a nerd. I love video games, chess, board games.
What is something you have grown in on the race that you are proud of?
I am better at understanding what actually makes me happy and not just what I convince myself that makes me happy.
What is a dream that you have for your life?
I think a big dream for me would be, to know myself so well that I would also know God really well. So much so that it is natural to walk with God and inviting others into that. They might not know what is different but they know that something is different.
What does the Lord call you when he speaks to you?
He calls me all kinds of different names. When I am in pain: my child. When I am avoiding something: he calls me Hannah or grace. Little one.
