While I enjoy spending time alone and away, I deeply enjoy being surrounded by people–be it in a cafe or at the beach or around a dinner table.
I spent Thanksgiving with David Stothart (from the M squad) and his family and friends, which ranged from an infant through middle aged adults (and a total of 7 dogs). We laughed, talked, enjoyed a medley of good and aesthetically-pleasing food, I embarrassed myself a few times, made friends, played with children and dogs, and argued over Taboo(c) (I won 2/3 games and I am not competitive at all 😉 ).
When all is said and done–I am beginning to value God and relationships more and more as my life progresses and this Thanksgiving is a living testament to this.
