Patterns of Pride

I have a major pride issue. So much so, that it has alienated me from others in the past.

 

But I do not desire that for the future.

 

Who am I, to think that I am any better than those around me?

 

Who am I to think that I am “better” than anyone else?

 

After all is said and done, we are all made in God’s image. I am no different in this regard. I may be different in terms of interests, passions, and level of drive–but I am not “better” than any other individual.
