I have, since my junior high school days, consistently created a list of new year’s resolutions. For the year 2009, I had 30. That’s right, 30. (I can be a bit demanding of myself, to be honest.) Without trying to sound prideful, I was able to complete 28 of these tasks and goals in the past fifty-two weeks.

Which is surprising. While I am rather driven, I tend to make goals for myself that are so high that I am unable to reach them.

Why do I do this?  Good question. I have a few theories, but that is not the point of this post.

The point is, 2010 is going to be drastically different for me than any other year, thus far. Not only am I going to be a full-time missionary to 11 different countries on 4 continents, but I have only 2 resolutions:

1. To trust God in regard to His will for my life.

2. To truly dedicate myself to what God wants in my life, each day and each day at a time.
