U2 is classic,  I know. Thanks to my brother, Nathanael, I have enjoyed listening to them since I was 4. Their album, “Joshua Tree” has and is my favorite album of all time. I have wanted to see them in concert for years now and I will be going down to Atlanta on October 6th to see them from afar (as in noes-bleed seats x 16), but I am not complaining. I will be going with Erin, Jonathan, and Hannah–friends from my church homegroup. I am excited, to say  the least. 🙂

The following song, “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” is symbolic to me because I tend to wander, search, and look around a lot–but I do not feel lost as I seek after God’s will for my life.

I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For

I have climbed the highest mountain
I have run through the fields
Only to be with you
Only to be with you

I have run – I have crawled
I have scaled these city walls
These city walls
Only to be with you
But I still haven’t found what I’m looking for
But I still haven’t found what I’m looking for

I have kissed honey lips
Felt the healing fingertips
It burned like fire
This burning desire
I have spoke with the tongue of angels
I have held the hand of the devil
It was warm in the night
I was cold as a stone
But I still haven’t found what I’m looking for
But I still haven’t found what I’m looking for

I believe in the kingdom come
Then all the colours will bleed into one
Bleed into one
But yes, I’m still running
You broke the bonds and you loosed the chains
Carried the cross of my shame
Of my shame
You know I believe it
But I still haven’t found what I’m looking for
But I still haven’t found what I’m looking for —
