Many of my friends are getting engaged and planning their weddings. I am more than happy for all of them, but partially saddened that I will be missing out on quite a few of my frends’ special day while I am a part of TWR this next year.
Yet, I know that my friends understand that I am being obedient to God by going to the 11 nations, loving the people, serving in any way needed, and simply being Jesus to those around me and through my team.
While I will miss the tears of joy and proclamations of faithfulness and love for many of my friends, but I know that I am going to experience tears of joy and see God’s faithfulness and love this next year, be it in a slum in Kenya, a brothel in Thailand, an orphanage in New Zealand or a dozen other places and without countless other people.
Side Note: I am looking forward to writing from the field instead of just hypothetically within my comfortable apartment. 🙂
