What has stood out to me this month?  What has changed my perspective, my life?  How will I progress from this month in New Zealand to next month’s ministry in Australia?

First and foremost–this month has been about relationships, be it from my team to the YWAM and ChangePoint friends and contacts here, the quick friendships formed with the Maoris and fellow YWAM volunteers here, the lasting friendships among Chris, Immanuel, and Haylee, and the staff and students at Fatih Bible College, where we have camped at these last three weeks.

As I’ve known for quite a few years now, God and relationships matter most and creating friendships here in New Zealand has simply reiterated this in my life. In order to progress from this month’s ministry to next month’s (which is quickly approaching), I know that I will continue with zeal to create and maintain frienships and relationships with the Aboriginals that we will be serving and loving in just a matter of days.  Already, being the nerd that I am, I have begun researching their cultural norms and lifestyles and I look forward to this information to come alive as we move to where they are.

So, as we pack up and move from New Zealand to Australia, I am preparing my heart to say my last good-byes and getting ready for some new ‘hellos’. I am not sure if I will have much access to the internet this month, for I will be living near the jungle, in my tent, and within or near the 1,800-person town of Mossman in northeast Australia. Your continued prayers and support are more than appreciated and I will return any and all emails as soon as I can. Thank you!

With love and prayers,

Hannah
