All joy is from the lord! This was something I preached on last week in church but this woman is actively living it out every since day, more than everyone I have ever meet before. When she was younger she was almost worked to death during the Khmer Rouge so now is experiencing extreme pain from that time. Along with that, she randomly went blind as she was walking and fell face first into a lake and almost drown but that hadn’t stopped her from much. Every time I have seen her she has had a smile on her face even when she has no clue what we are saying to her. I had the pleasure of reading the Bible to her with a translator and after we finished she asked if we could come more often to read to her more!! This women’s joy is straight from the lord and it is so inspiring!
