I knew coming into this trip that Jesus existed everywhere. It is totally different actually seeing that with my own eyes, though.
Seeing Jesus in the people of Ecuador has been so eye opening for me. I have always wondered if Christians abroad worship the way I do- pray the way I do- or even believe the same as me. Truth is- we do just as much the same as we do different. Some things look different than I am used to and that is so fun! The organization we are partnered with here in Quito shares the same belief system as I do. With that being the case, many things look the same. There are cultural differences though, and I am learning a lot through them.
We live in a huge world and being able to see a small part of that this month has been amazing.
