I am OVERWHELMED and completely humbled.
The Lord is completely paving the way and making it so very clear that this is exactly where He wants me. I can hardly believe it; I am just one month into fundraising and already over 60% raised (note: not all has been updated on my fundraising tracker on blog site yet; donations are currently being processed)! I am in awe of the Lord and His faithfulness.
Thank you so much to everyone who has already joined my support team and a future thank you to all those who still prayerfully considering! I am currently scheduling meetings with potential supporters, and I would love to schedule and meet with you and your family to tell you more about the ministry!
One of my favorite books so far this season has been The Circle Maker by Mark Batterson. This book has been a catalyst to challenge me to pray big, bold prayers! The Lord is listening and wants good things for His children.
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you shall find; knock and the door shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
Which of you, if you son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?
If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him!
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:7-12
Friends, family, and fellow racers…I challenge you to pray! Pray frequently, specifically, constantly…prayer turns life into an adventure. Trusting Him, who is the WAY, and allowing the Lord to lead will take you to places you never thought you could be! He is the creator, the healer, and our magnificent Lord and Father! As we end this year and begin the next, I pray for all of us to become a people of prayer. Prayer changes everything because the one we pray to holds EVERYTHING and is EVERYTHING. Let us bring glory to God through our prayers.
