Experiencing the Holy Spirit like never before has opened my mind to A WHOLE NEW WORLD.
If God is in me and guides me, then why should I be afraid?
Why do I put up these walls and restrictions on myself because it looks “uncomfortable” or is “scary”.
So I have begun a new challenge for myself!
I will FACE a new FEAR everyday if the opportunity presents itself.
The Lord has covered me and set me free in every way— why not in my fears?! He is my rock and my salvation! RIGHT?
After learning so much about the Holy Spirit this summer, I have been wrestling with why I still have so many fears and insecurities when Jesus has broken every curse!
Here is my CELEBRATION list of my Fears/Strongholds already conquered while in China:
5. Hot Cupping (I have never been one that enjoys massages or especially “massages” with fire)
4. Eating a quail egg (apart of a delicious Uzbek dinner)
3. Going to a fish spa (THEY WERE NOT SMALL FISH LIKE I ASSUMED THEY WOULD BE), You can watch my video for proof!
2. Eating a scorpion on a stick (And it tasted like popcorn LOL)
1. Sharing the Good News to someone who has never heard it!! One of our new friends had first claimed that she had no faith. She said no one in her family has faith.. She is now very interested in the Bible, and we’ve been going over scripture with her almost everyday. She says she is experiencing peace like she never has just by hearing the Word of God!! One of my favorite moments ever was getting to tell her the GOOD NEWS, that Jesus didn’t just die, but He overcame death when He rose from the grave!
What a privilege it is to be able to bring this life changing news to new friends around the world!!!
Please pray for our friend as she continues exploring and walking this new faith journey!!
This journey so far has been incredible and stretching all at the same time! I’m so thankful for a God that is bigger than my fears and doubts!!
I AM NO LONGER A SLAVE TO FEAR FOR I AM A CHILD OF THE LIVING GOD.
Remember dear friends, there is such power in the name of Jesus!
