I am so excited to share that I am FULLY FUNDED for The World Race!!! Thank you for your generosity, your encouragement, prayers and all of your support. Thank you so much for being a part of God’s provision, His plan, His mission – And His abundance!
I just have to share – fundraising has been a HUGE lesson in faith for me. If you were to have told me this time last year that I would be fully funded, I wouldn’t have believed it. I didn’t want to do it; it was uncomfortable and I seriously doubted God’s provision. God gave me a number to contribute but He told me to fundraise the rest. And so I trusted – and I’m just blown away that His promises have become a reality! Thank YOU for being a part of His Miracle Promise and for trusting too!
I’d like to simply stop for a moment and recognize the Miracle of His Provision. Despite a global pandemic, travel interruptions, the state of the economy and so much uncertainty & loss in the world, God showed up. He showed up through you. I am just in awe, and it makes me want to cry. I hope you are encouraged and inspired by this miracle too.
Your support – whether through prayers, encouragement or financially – has opened doors to the kingdom.
In Bali, we shared The Good News with a village who has never hosted westerners before us – and many had never even heard of the name of Jesus before we stayed with them. We hosted an after school program for the kids, taught English and did cultural exchange. We partnered with a local church. We went into the rice fields, brought food, medicine and prayed for healing for a non-believing family. We made friends with the locals and have remained close to them, even after our departure.
In Malaysia, we taught English at a special needs school, hosted after school care for kids, and led worship, and even preached in the local church we partnered with. My team and I were invited into non-believers’ homes. We went on hikes with locals. We prayed with strangers on ferries, encouraged the local church, and shared His love everywhere we went.
AND YOU’VE BEEN A PART OF EVERY STEP OF THE JOURNEY. THANK YOU.
Your support not only allowed my team to go to these places and share the love of Jesus, but also to support the local ministries we partnered with to help with sustainability and discipleship. We planted seeds and even saw lives changed – and the ripple effect will continue on.
Although our race has been interrupted, it’s not over. The goal is to get back out on the field – whether that’s domestic, internationally or a combination of the two. My squad, team and I are working diligently to come up with the best plan for next steps. Some tentative plans include departures as early as August (for domestic trips) or October or January (for international – depending on borders, world health, etc). I would really appreciate your prayers for discernment, direction and decision making during this time. I will let you know when I have more information – most likely by August 1.
For now, I want you to know that I am so thankful for your support, sacrifice and your part in bringing the kingdom of heaven all over the world. Thank you so much for being a part of this journey with me. God Bless!!!
