Hi Everyone!
I wanted to update you about life, fundraising, and what the Lord’s been teaching me in the process!
Last Saturday was my last day working at Nordstrom.

Its bittersweet.
It was definitely difficult working there, but I also learned so much in those 2 years. I learned how to work hard, how to function and communicate effectively even on only a few hours of sleep, and how to manage people without making them feel inferior.
Through all the really taxing parts, I will truly miss helping women to look and feel their best! It’s an amazing feeling when you help a new mom get her style back, or when you help someone with a first date outfit, or even the hard ones like helping someone find a dress for a funeral when its the last thing they want to do.
You never know how you can make someone’s day brighter and will carry that mindset with me always!
I am so blessed that I get to spend the summer in my hometown, working and resting before I spend almost a year in constant community.
In addition to working to raise money, I am also spending the summer focused on fundraising. There are tons of ways to get involved!
Current Fundraisers
Peach Skin Sheets
Peach Skin Sheets is a sheet brand that I have been using for YEARS and they have graciously agreed to partner with me for this mission!
Their sheet sets run for $79.95, but with the promo code “WORLDRACE”, you get $25 off per set! For every sheet sold, they write me a check for $20! Luxury sheets that don’t pill, keep you cool, and are so SO soft for only $54.95? Pretty sweet deal if you ask me! Visit PeachSkinSheets to order! Fundraiser ends on the 16th!
Bracelets
I am also still selling leather embossed bracelets for $25. They read, “HERE I AM, SEND ME.” Isaiah 6:8. I only have a few left, so get them while you still can!
Adopt-a-Box
The idea behind adopt-a-box is that each box represents a donation amount. If you buy box 51, you are committing to donating $51. Boxes are filling up fast, so let me know which one you’d like to buy!
I also have a garage sale in the works, but more to come on that later!
Currently, I have fundraised $2,553towards my mission and have raised $1000 of my own funds for gear and vaccines!
Thank you so much to all of my generous donors!
However, I still have $15,647 to go!
I need your help!
The mission is $18,200 which covers all costs of travel and living abroad. This includes everything from visas, airplane tickets, food, missionary health insurance, ministry costs and more.
I am encouraged to raise the entire amount, rather than contribute just my own funds.
I like to call this support raising… this process is more than funds.
I consider my senders to be ministry partners. This mission is a partnership. I am your representative of our community, the Church, and JESUS CHRIST.
The biggest thing the Lord has been reminding me of lately is that, if I am seeking him first, his promises to me are not any less than His promises to my teammates. It’s so easy to get trapped in comparison. I am able to look at my teammates profiles, see them being over 50% funded and I tend to go to this place of “I don’t think I’ll ever get there.”
