This is Samuel. He’s one of the little kiddos I’ve gotten to hang out with for the past 3 weeks. He is a little firecracker & I love him. He’s been playing “hard to get” but I think I’ve finally won him over. We play tag. He wins most of the time.
This is Derek. He is the sweetest little kid. He gives me random hugs & he just has the cutest face.
This is Santiago. He is a special one. He’s taught me a lot about my relationship with Jesus. Santiago always seeks me out. He gets so excited every morning when I show up to school & greets me with endless hugs. He reminds me that that’s how Jesus is with me. Jesus is always seeking me out. He gets so excited when I want to talk to Him. & He’s always there to give me a little hug when I need it.
This is Paola. She’s spunky and sassy, but she loves so well. She accepted Brooke and I the first second we got there. I think she likes new things. She likes change. I think everyone can learn from little Paola.
This is Lucia. She is the queen of sass, but she is also the sweetest little girl. Honestly, I think she should be a child model because she is absolutely gorgeous!! But she always gives me hugs and just wants to be loved, and I really do love her.

This is Abby. Man oh man, I could go on and on about her. She is one of the greatest people I know. Every time I’m struggling here God uses her to comfort me. During worship one night I was asking God to show me that I was loved here. As soon as I finished my prayer Abby touched my back and I instantly had this overwhelming feeling of love and peace. This girl is a special one & I’m so glad I have her by my side. She pushes me. She listens to me. She’s just the best.
Thank you everyone who is following me on this journey. I am now back on social media because it’s officially been a month!! Time is flying by here. I know I’m gonna miss it when it’s gone. I just feel so alive here. I will never get tired of this life.
