So I am guessing by the title you probably know what this post will be about 😉
I am SO HAPPY and excited to share the news that as of last night I am fully funded!!!! Praise God!
WOO. Man this weekend has been a whirlwind of emotions. Sometimes I feel like I am living in the kids movie called Inside Out, where I am happy one second and nervous the next. But those earthly feelings cannot take away the peace that I have felt from the Lord this year. He has been showering His peace and faithfulness over me this year and I am just so eternally grateful for how He works in everyone’s lives. He is the Author and Perfecter! I have been so humbled this year by His sovereignty and how He has put so many amazing and wonderful people in my life to pray and speak life into me before, during and after this journey I am about to take.
Last night my mom planned a send off party for me at my church. It was so beautiful and I had such a great time. I left feeling so blessed to know so many amazing people that take their time to come all the way out and hear about my trip, pray for me, listen and support me financially as well. Lets just say my cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing last night! 🙂 It is amazing how God works and how He created the body of Christ to come together and uplift one another! It is my prayer that people left feeling blessed, because everyone that came has blessed or poured into me in one shape or form. I pray that the Lord was glorified in that place last night, and I believe He was! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to everyone who helped set up, wrote a letter of encouragement, gave me hug, spoke into me and for those who came long distances to see me off!!! Each and everyone of my friends and family are a true blessing 🙂
Second, I want to thank my family. My parents have been so incredibly supportive and has moved mountains for me to get to this point. They spent so much time and energy helping me fundraise and prepare for this trip. Last night could not have been possible without their support and party planning skills!
I am so thankful to all of my supporters and God for helping me get to this point. I can now go on the World Race fully funded and not having to worry or stress about fundraising from afar. So again, THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who supported me financially, through buying a bracelet or t shirt and for those who have been praying for me. I cant wait to embark on this beautiful journey with God and share with you all the amazing things He is doing around the globe!!
