.) Rest is so vital. Make sure you take time to rest and revitalize your soul with Jesus and the other healthy things that fill you up!

.) I love leading praise and worship for the kiddos! It fills my soul.

.) I never thought I would say this but India is by far the coldest country I have been to so far on the race. Also, the boujeest month for us so far.

.) Don’t isolate yourself from God, isolate yourself WITH God.

.) India has the most beautiful culture and people. I loved getting to wear Saree’s, put henna on, learn their customs and try their delicious spicy food!

.) Continue to fight for community even when you may just want to be alone for a hot second so you have to separate yourself from your friends in the grocery store.

.) Give of yourself. This may seem like a no brainer, but after 7 months of giving of yourself, nonstop travel, and long days, you can be exhausted! It’s important to push past that though and keep an eye out for the ways you can bless the host, show someone love in the ministry or community. I really tried to be present this month and not let myself check out on this amazing journey.

.) It’s one thing to believe in God, it’s another to believe in the ability of God.

.) Learn to live with the season. Don’t run before or behind Him, run with Him.

.) Processing sometimes sucks, but is so beneficial! I learned AGAIN (ya i know, humbling, right?) about how I tend to stuff down/numb all the feelings and emotions I have so I can have “peace and harmony” in my life. That being said, it’s not healthy at all, therefore, I was challenged this month to dig deep and process how I truly feel and not worry about how others are feeling/what they would think of me for feeling a certain way. (If you truly want to know more about what I’m talking about I would encourage you to read up on the enneagram type 9 personality, which is almost 100% me.)

.) Confusion is a state that leads to clarity.
