1.) I already knew this but I wanted to say it again. I LOVE MY TEAM SO MUCH. So thankful for each and everyone of them <3
2.) Language barriers can be tough sometimes, but embrace it! You may get some good laughs out of doing charades and explaining that spaghetti is not said like “spock a tee” haha!
3.) God is continuously wooing me! This month I really grew deeper in my walk with the Lord and felt His deep love like never before.
4.) When you ask God for help He will deliver and speak through you!!
5.) My voice and opinion matters so share it!
6.) I learned that I need to treat myself, but definitely in moderation because It’s easy to go burn a whole in your bank account when you go from Africa to the Promise Land (aka Asia) haha!
7.) Tuk tuks are pure magical vehicles of fun! I absolutely love them so much and they bring me pure joy! I love feeling the wind in my hair and it’s basically like a very small Jeep like carriage.
8.) Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try new things, like flag waving in church during worship.
9.) Tattoos don’t hurt that bad. And it’s even better when you get to share the cool spur of the moment experience with the people you love!
10.) Drink lots of water because if not you will get a million Charlie horses in the middle of the night. Yeah..not fun.. ha
11.) I actually LOVE teaching English! It was so much fun to offer and teach free English classes, because it allowed us to plant seeds in the community. It was so awesome to see people show up and to see their eagerness to learn.
