The fun thing about God is the more I get to know Him, the more I know myself – and vice versus! It’s so interesting to me how the whole “Made in God’s image” concept just expands the more you study it.
What did God show you about yourself?
I found out so much. I found out that I am Beloved. I am cherished. I am heard. That the quirks of my person are oddities to be embraced – not to hide or feel ashamed of them.
What did God show you about Himself?
He showed me that His desire is to be WITH me, not served by me. While serving Him is something I choose to do and find great joy in doing – I don’t have to serve Him to gain His affection. He is already so in love with who I am – who He created me to be that I don’t have to earn it! (Friend – He feels this way about you, too!)
