I normally don’t post blogs this quickly, but WOW I have to tell you what God has done!

Thursday: had second week of Professional Development Workshop, working on CVs (AKA resumes) – it was AWESOME. Last week – How to Ace an Interview. Next week – business card design! I pray with my team for sponsors to come alongside me – I am overwhelmed with the amount left to raise!!
Friday: God gives me a monthly sponsor! WHOO!!! Team Redeemed grocery shops and cooks for Beauty for Ashes event.
Saturday: Up early at the international church for set up. The first news I get is that a person God laid on my heart to reach out to has already donated and selected “monthly!” Before she even saw my message!! WHAT?! GOD! Once on the way to the church, we might have stopped along the side of the road for all the flowers pictured… I got to work with the kids while the women were participating in the retreat. The kids only spoke French. #bestillmyheart
Sunday: Day 2 of retreat. More prep work (and more flowers!) The event started after service and MY MY MY what a fun and emotional event. Women connected – an underrated, but honest understatement. Women shared their stories!! #herstorymatters
The girl in the last photo (we shall call her Joy in honor of my sister whose age she is closest to) doesn’t speak any English. She participated in the kids activities both days, taught me my Arabic ABC’s, made me a picture and a crown each day. Apparently she lives next to the church! Y’all. HER. DIMPLES. I loved seeing her smile!! And play guitar with Gina Marie. Pray the seeds of Love we’ve been sowing will be planted deep within her!
