Leaving for training camp in less than 24 hr. Today we will lay to rest my grandpa but rejoice that he is in heaven with Jesus able to hear…. And the first thing he would hear clearly in over 90 years would be his Savior’s voice saying welcome home Robert. Amongst all the feelings I have about going I am honored that I will get to serve one month in Swaziland a country my grandparents spent 10 years serving in. Yes I have has fears of the what ifs or unknowns of the trip, yes I have moments I do not want to leave life here and be gone for so long, yes I have stuggles about leaving from time to time and doing this trip… But I am bringing them to God in prayer and laying them at His feet. He is giving me peace and the straight to do this even on the hard days and I am growing so much in trust Him. I will be leaving for training camp it goes till the 18 of August I would appreciate prayers for me and my squad as we meet and prepare together during this time.
He is also providing me peace about the future for when I come back next fall 2020 about work. I will have work for the fall and Lord willing if things work out a full time job may follow. If that ends up not the plan it helps give me something till I am able to find a job. It is so neat to see how God works in unexpected ways to show us there is no need to worry He has this all planned and I just need to trust Him each step of the way.
God has been blessing me so much though all of my friends, family, church, and co-workers. Wether it throu your prayers, gifts, or conversation I am so blessed that He has allowed each of you to be apart of my life.
So in close of this brief update I again want to say thank you for all your prayers for me and support of me as I pursue this next step.
