These past months I have really felt called to go and serve others through the Lord! It all started last summer when I was struggling with what I felt like I was going to do after high school. I attended a Bible camp called Maranatha and had no idea what was in store for me to learn in that short week I attended camp. I remember the guest speaker talking about how we needed to wake up and start living our life’s fully for the Lord. Giving everything we had and sharing the good news about Jesus with everyone. At this point, I had no idea what this meant for my life. Later that night I went to pray and I asked the Lord to show me a sign of what his plan for my life was. From there on out, I strongly felt called to go into the world and serve others through missions, Sharing the love of our amazing God. But I still had no idea where and when I was being called! Later on, I asked a friend about some mission groups I could get involved with and this is how I was lead to the world race. I looked at the world race website and prayed about it for a while and then felt like I just needed to apply and see what that would lead me to. So I applied for the world race and eventually got accepted. Now I am preparing to leave on this amazing journey that God is going to take me on and I have no idea what’s in store but all I know is that no matter what, I can always trust in the Lord and if I just keep my eyes on him he will guide me!
