Monday we visited a kid named Sergio who just broke his leg and has to be in bed for about 4 months or until his leg heals. We brought the game UNO to teach him how to play so that when he is bored, him and his family can just gather around and play UNO. We also brought him paint, to paint while in bed healing. After this we went to families house that we have visited once more and we just hung out and chatted with the mother of the family who is 25 and has 3 boys. We also helped her shuck her corn, which was pretty hard not gonna lie….. half the team got blisters from it.
Tuesday we went to Salea the school in Chimal we help teach at. Me and Mary Grace thought the students a song in English while some of the team was playing water games with the younger students. After classes we had a bible study upstairs, where we had a discussion about the Holy Spirit and who he is to us.
Wednesday we visited a family in Los Coralles and he thought us some worship songs in Spanish. Then we walked home from our village to visit the family’s on the hill on our walk home. Where we meet a lady named Maria. We just hung out and got to know Maria and hear about her life and family.
Thursday- we are going to celebrate Thanksgiving at the base. Each team is making a special meal and then we will all share.
Friday we plan on going back to the Family we visited Wednesday to have lunch with them and just hang out. After this we are going to talk to the pastor in Los Coralles to see if we can host an event there to show the Jesus Films.
