We made it to Guatemala!! it’s so crazy to think that almost a year ago I thought about doing the world race, but I never thought it would actually happen. It has really opened my eyes to everything Jesus has for me if I just say yes.
The past week we’ve been settling into our home and adjusting to life here. Were living at an Adventures in Missions base, and it is so nice. The couple and staff that runs it truly cares about us and wants to pour into us as we pour into others. The Lord has really blessed us with a safe place to stay during our time here, and a lot of good community is being created.
We also officially started ministry this week! Our teams are split up between the different communities in the area all working for different ministries. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays my team will be working with a community that has a ministry to help teach and tutor kids learning English to help them advance to the next grade. We also have the opportunity to do home visits with the families of the students. On Fridays, well be leading a Bible class at a different school that is open to all ages. Im really excited about the opportunity we have to minister to these communities. There is a lot of kingdom to be brought here and I feel so blessed that God has invited us to partner with him in that.
Please keep my team in your prayers during our time here!
