Hey y’all! 🙂 So today is my Sabbath day and since being in this coffee shop with my team & doing my devos, I can’t stop smiling! I don’t entirely know why I can’t stop smiling, but I felt like I should share it/talk about it (or just rant…).
My Team in the Coffee Shop
Last night I walked into my room that I share with my team and felt like dying. Literally, you take a step from the hallway into the room and you can feel the difference dramatically! It was so hot, stuffy, and I felt like I was cooking. Before I went to sleep, I asked God if He could have it rain tomorrow. I love rain and it would bring the temperature down. It was just a simple request of ‘Lord, can you please have it rain tomorrow’ while getting ready for bed. I have no idea how I got any sleep but the Lord blessed me with it and do you know what happened this morning? God. had. it. rain. *Screams with laughter and a giant smile on her face* It only rained for an hour or so, but I am so happy! An hour, that’s all I needed from Him. God answered my simple prayer for rain. Like, for one WOW and for two, WOW. I’m just so happy. (Also, if it rained all day, I probably wouldn’t be at this coffee shop with my team right now…) I wish you could just see the smile on my face. Feel the joy I feel. Like, I don’t know, but I seriously am so happy right now. Even with the things that have been bad this week, for example, my camera cracking on my phone so my pictures have this weird light thing at the bottom of them now. Even thinking about that, I can’t entirely frown; I am still smiling this goofy grin.
