If you are new to my blog, welcome! I’d like to introduce myself and tell you a little about who I am:
My name is Hannah Applewhite and I’m 28 years old. I’m from Anderson, South Carolina which is about 20 miles from Clemson (GO TIGERS!) and if you’ve ever seen the movie “Radio”, then you know a good bit about where I went to high school. My parents names are Brad and Lisa and they are incredible people. If you ever get the privilege to meet them, you’ll understand what I mean. I’m the oldest child by 8 1/2 years and although I cried when I found out I was getting a little brother, he is now one of my favorite people. His name is Joshua and he is currently in college majoring in accounting.
I am a hairstylist and manage a Great Clips in Liberty, South Carolina. I have been cutting hair for 10 years and I’m also a licensed cosmetology instructor. I’m a member of the Great Clips Design Team where we travel to school’s around the Upstate and teach demonstration classes and hands-on training.
Things that make me, ME:
I love Jesus!
I have the heart of a child. I love Disney movies, coloring, and pretending that I’ll never grow up.
My friends call me a “closet nerd”, which is odd because I don’t hide my love of reading or Harry Potter.
I literally cry at everything. Movies, books, Facebook articles, commercials (even happy ones) I’ve come to learn that I’m an empath and not only do I feed off of others emotions, but I put myself in others shoes…even if I’ve never met them. This is where all the crying comes from.
I’m honest to a fault and if you ask my opinion, you’re getting the cold, hard truth.
I LOVE people and thrive when around those that I can completely be myself.
Did I mention I love to read? I collect books and plan to live in a library one day.
I hate small talk and crave deep conversations with others.
I’m an extroverted introvert. I thrive being around others but need time to myself to stay sane. This is where I’m going to have to grow on the race.
I love movies and music.
I love traveling! I try to take 6-8 vacations a year, even if they are short.
My favorite color is teal.
I love music and movies.
I’m terrified of snakes and heights. I can handle pretty much everything else.
I’m so excited for this next chapter in my life and can’t wait to share it with all of you!
