Dear Family and Friends,
We hope this letter finds you healthy, happy, and enjoying the new year! For us, the turning of the calendar has brought about a lot of change. Through a series of divine events (which you can read about here) we will be leaving in September to spend 11 months traveling to 11 different countries to be the hands and feet of Christ. We will be traveling with a missions organization called Adventures in Missions (www.adventures.org) on The World Race (www.theworldrace.org).
On The World Race we will serve in partnership with the local churches and ministries in each country to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring restoration and hope of the Father's love to many tribes and nations. The countries we will be serving in are: Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam/Laos, Swaziland, Tanzania, Mozambique, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Romania, Moldova, and Ireland.
We are grateful for the support each person receiving this letter has given us so far. It would be easy to name a way every one of you have encouraged us whether it was by prayer, spoken word, or by example. God has blessed tremendously with the people he has carefully placed in our lives. Humbly, we ask for your support once more while we are on The World Race. The total cost of the trip for both of us is $31,000. This cost includes administration fees, travel (air, land, and sea), lodging, and food while on the field.
