I am laying on a bed that takes up most of the room in a small house in a village in Thailand.

This month Justin and I have lived, along with our team, in a village in the mountains of Thailand called Mae Ai district of Chiang Mai.

Nothing could have prepared me for the beauty we would experience this month.

Not from the mountain ranges that surround us, although they are beautiful, but from the villagers we have lived with for the past 11 days.

They have:

– cooked every meal for us
– washed our clothes
– braided our hair
– loaned us their bikes
– worried about us when we were sick
– prayed with us
– hugged us
– laughed with us
– encouraged us
– taught us
– loved us

They have been Jesus…without even knowing him.

If you want to see the heart of the Father, come to Thailand.

It pours out of the Thai people's every pore.

And they do it all without even knowing the Father or His love for them.

Tomorrow we will be leaving.

I'm fighting the tears as I think about how I might never hug my Thai mom again or laugh with my Thai dad or give my Thai brother another high five.

And I can't help wonder, "Did I show them Jesus like they have shown me Jesus?"

Pray for Mae Ai and the beautiful people here.

Pray that they will know the love from the Father – the one who created them, cares for them, and pursues them.

They already know how to live like Him now pray they will know how to be loved by Him…
