Movers & shakers.
I’m always inspired by the movers in this world. The people who are sensitive to the Holy Spirit & who put into ACTION the things that God has called them to do and live the reckless & dangerous lives that He’s called them to live.
[[If you’re truly following Christ there’s nothing normal or SAFE about your life, no matter what environment you live it in.]]
And, quite frankly, that’s the only kind of life I want to live, it’s the only one worth living.
I had NO IDEA what God had in store when He called me to The World Race, all I knew is He was calling me and I couldn’t stay still-I HAD to move. Throughout this race, God has done so many things-too many to write about in one little blog. But one thing that He has continually blessed me with each month is movers. These “movers”, as I call them, inspire me, challenge me, and re-light a fire in me to be an ACTIVE PART in this amazing revival that is happening in my generation, and to reach the unreached. Sometimes these people are my fellow world racers, sometimes it’s our ministry contacts, sometimes it’s people from home, and sometimes it’s simply people I meet just through talking & networking. No doubt, every time I meet one of these movers, God has specifically planned it. I simply can’t deny that fact.
This month, I spent the month in Kathmandu, Nepal and it was amazing. I met a lot of movers this month through the ministry we partnered with and I was constantly inspired by them and encouraged by them. There’s a lot of people in Nepal who are on fire for The Lord and moving in the ways that He’s beckoned them to.
But one of my favorite parts about this month were the soaking sessions we attended at The Gethsemane House of Prayer. One night, my team and I, met Clem. He’s the director of the House of Prayer and he invited us to come. The second I stepped through those doors I was hit with the Holy Spirit. Clem explained that we were free to worship in whatever way God created us to worship and that he wouldn’t stop playing until the last person left-he’d play all night long if he had to. I fell in love with the freedom to worship, to pray and prophesy for my brothers and sisters in Christ, and to just simply be in awe of my Savior. Gathered in a room too small to contain the various missionaries of every shape and size, I was in awe. It was amazing.
One of the movers that my team and I ended up meeting is Tyler. A few days ago, I had the privilege of officially meeting him with a couple other of my friends at a coffee shop where we were able to talk and share a little bit of our stories with each other. I left the coffee shop feeling so inspired by the stories that he told and the project he shared with us that I had to ask him if I could share it with all of you.
He said yes. “Share. Share. Share!”
The Ekballo Project is a film that Tyler and his team are working on to inspire & encourage children of God to be “movers”, to take action, and to go out into this world and reach the unreachable.
The photos & video below are taken directly from the vision tab on the project’s web page: www.ekballoproject.com, which does a much better job of explaining the project than I ever could 😉
I encourage you to watch this video, to get excited, to follow Ekballo Project on Instagram [[ekballoproject]], tell your friends. I challenge you to really ask God what it is He’s calling you to & I’m praying for you to have the courage to say, “I’m a mover & I’m all in.” Maybe the Ekballo Project is for you, maybe it’s for your friend, or maybe it’s for that “random” person that God gives you in a moment. Share it! Maybe it’s not for you & something else is, but let this inspire you, like it has me, to continue to be a mover and chase after where The Lord leads me.
Pray for God to send you people who encourage you & then return the favor by encouraging others. As a family, this is what we need to do, in this crazy world of hurt, pain, and just really hard things, our family needs to know that we support each other, we love each other, and that we’re all here working towards the same goal: to, ultimately, glorify the kingdom & bring Heaven to earth.
Go live your life, live the ADVENTURE that God has promised us. And, as your sister in Christ, I’ll be praying for you.
-Love you guys-
