The air is thick & suffocating as I rock back & forth in my hammock.  Sweat slowly & consistently drips down my face & my only saving grace is the light breeze brushing against my face.  As I look out upon the still, calm waters & listen to the little voices & giggles in the distance a smile quickly spreads across my face.

I can't believe this is my life…

But just as fast as the smile comes, it fades.

My mind wanders back to the evening before.  I am reminded of the worship session that we were apart of and the words that were spoken.  I am reminded of the war that we are fighting.  I am reminded of Ephesians 6:10-18.  I am reminded of the spiritual battle that is taking place all over this world.

Looking out onto the water it almost feels as if it's the calm before the storm.

I picture myself strapping on the armor of God.  I'm not scared, I'm excited.  I'm excited to run into this battle & I feel privileged to be a warrior in God's army.

My sword is drawn, my head held high, and I'm ready to defeat the enemy with Jesus by my side.

His perfect love casts out all of my fear.

There's simply no time left for timidity.  There are lost souls wandering this Earth aimlessly looking for a savior but constantly being devoured by the devil.

God has spoken to me very clearly that the power He possesses is hardwired into us and we have UNLIMITED access to it at any given moment-we just have to use it & be confident in Him, confident that His power is ENOUGH.

The power to heal, to drive out demons…

The power to do supernatural things because we serve a supernatural God.

He wins…

& He uses us to do it.  He gives us gifts, protects us in every way, knows our deepest desires & longs to fulfill them.

We only hinder ourselves by making this concept too complicated.

God is the same yesterday, today, & tomorrow.

He NEVER changes and never will.

I challenge you to change your way of thinking-go back to that "childlike faith" and allow God to use you to your full potential-allow Him to use you in the way that ultimately He created you to be used.
